Rug Shipping Policy

We are pleased to offer FREE worldwide shipping on all rug orders.

Order Processing

As rugs are large and handcrafted items, processing times vary depending on the size and weight of your order.

- Lighter rugs: Dispatched within 2 business days after your order is placed.
- Heavier or oversized rugs: Dispatched within 4 business days after your order is placed.

Once your rug has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking details (where available).

Estimated Delivery Times

- United Kingdom: 3–5 business days
- Europe: 5–8 business days
- Rest of the World: 5–10 business days

Please note that these delivery times are estimates and may vary due to customs clearance, weather conditions, courier delays, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Customs, Duties & Taxes

For orders shipped outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the buyer. These charges are not included in the purchase price or the shipping cost.

If customs charges are refused and the shipment is returned to us, any return shipping costs, customs fees, or related charges may be deducted from any eligible refund.

Delivery Delays

While we work closely with our shipping partners to ensure timely delivery, we cannot guarantee delivery dates. Merik Ocak is not responsible for delays caused by customs inspections, courier services, severe weather, public holidays, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
