This kilim is made using a traditional tapestry weaving technique, with small slits sometimes appearing where blocks of colour meet. These can resemble tiny holes and are a natural characteristic of the weave, not a flaw.

The Celebration of Colour and Heritage Handwoven Kilim is a vibrant expression of geometric artistry and traditional craftsmanship. Set against a rich burgundy background, its rhythmic arrangement of colourful squares and diamond motifs combines turquoise, aqua blue, mustard yellow, burnt orange, lavender and soft pink. A striking turquoise border with contrasting ivory detailing frames the composition, creating a beautifully balanced and playful design.

Measuring 363 × 269 cm, this generously sized kilim makes an impressive statement in spacious living rooms, dining areas and contemporary interiors. Handwoven in Northern Afghanistan from 100% natural wool using traditional flatweaving techniques and plant-based dyes, this kilim is lightweight, reversible and suitable for everyday use. • Vacuum regularly using low suction power.

• In case of spills, gently blot with a damp cloth — do not rub.

• Professional rug cleaning is recommended when necessary.

Please note that slight shedding may occur initially due to the natural wool fibres; this is normal and temporary.
